This steel and aluminium sculpture graced the surface of the lake at Montalto Winery in Shoreham as a finalist in the 2005 Montalto Sculpture Prize winning two of the three prizes. 

It was designed to be  spectacular and memorable and viewed to advantage both close up and at a distance. The 46 flexible petals wave gently in the breeze whilst the whole structure floats across the surface of the lake in arcs around an anchor on the lake floor. During still conditions the reflections are intricate and intriguing.
