Pleased to announce I attended an artist residency at Police Point Artist Residency in Portsea, Victoria during February 2022. I spent two and half weeks in a beautiful location to focus on production of a new body of work. Having lived in Sorrento over a two year period many moons ago it felt like coming home again.
Happy to announce I have a sculpture called Inflorescere II which has been selected as a finalist in the Yering Station Sculpture Exhibition and Awards. Exhibitfion is open from Sunday 27th February 2022 until Sunday 3rd April 2022.
Lovely surprise, being asked to exhibit an installation at Cube 37, Frankston Arts Centre. I have a couple of weeks to prepare and then install a new work called Arabeque. It is a sculptural work with video projection after dark. Thanks again to John Noordennen for his assistance.

Delighted to announce I have a quiet little seascape painting which has been selected as a finalist in the 2021 Southern Buoy Studio Landscape Prize. It is an Oil on board Painting called An Approach, 78 x 29 cm.
'This painting depicts a moment whilst walking on the beach at Mt Martha on a winter's afternoon. The sand is wet after rain, the wind keen and water turbulent. I am caught in a cold front proceeding the approaching storm clouds…..The title also implies the particular mind set and technique applied to painting this landscape.'

A planned Artist Residency at Police Point, Portsea provided by Mornington Shire Council has been postponed due to lock down. In it's place artists have been asked to submit work online as a 'virtual' residency. I have decided to make a video of my creative process whilst taking walks within my local area all within the 5 km limit prescibed by lock down restrictions. I invited other members of the community to submit content also, via instagram. I called the project 'Thrive in Five'. The virtual artist residency was kindly supported by Mornington Shire Council.
I am delighted to be selected as a finalist in the 2020 Southern Buoy Studios Portrait Prize with an oil on board 'Self Portrait', 21 x 25 cm.
“Painting from life is a contemplation in form, colour and immersion in the sensory realm. One's own visage provides an ever available subject.”⠀
Due to lock down restrictions planned Installation work 'Resurgence' which was to be exhibited at Cube 37, Frankston Arts Centre, has been postponed to a later date, TBA.
Delighted to be sharing an exhibition with John Noordennen. The show 'Cosmic Garden' is exhibiting at arc Yinnar Gallery, Yinnar, in Gippsland. It consists of individual works paintings, drawings and sculpture and mixed media work created together. 'Cosmic Garden' examines the posibility that in the distant future and alien race may chance apon some random debris form a long destroyed earth. The notion is that from these fragments a hypothetical museum display has been put together with the notion of what 'earth' may have looked like.
As per usual when working together we had magnificent fun for several days installing and curating a group of our combined works together to create a story.
Pleased to announce I am exhibiting works in a group exhibition 'True Form' with a group of Realist painters. Unfortunately the exhibition held at Black Spot Gallery, Mornington 21 March to 5 April 2020 was disrupted by lock down restrictions due to Covid 19 virus.
